WMS Walzenmanufaktur und Service GmbH was founded in 2019 as a contract manufacturer for precision rolls. WMS is an affiliated company of Derichs GmbH. Derichs GmbH has been known for the development, calculation, design and sales of precision rolls for the plastics industry since 1972. By founding WMS Walzenmanufaktur und Service GmbH, the managing partners Maria Barthels and Stephanie Holzmann have taken the long outsourced production of the rolls into their own hands.
WMS GmbH is a mechanical workshop with turning, milling, assembly and welding capacities. As a manufactory, WMS GmbH mainly produces individual parts and small series with high precision. 70% of the manufacturing capacity is covered by the production of precision rolls for Derichs GmbH. WMS GmbH generates a further 30% as a contract manufacturer for external companies. The strength of WMS GmbH lies in the individual production of turned and welded parts due to the high qualification and motivation of the employees.
